Message from the Founder,Chairman

 

Nepal is a favorable destination of researchers from different academic backgrounds. In fact there is no place in globe where we can find such a diversified landscape, culture, and ethnicity within such a small territory. I personally call it a "living laboratory" for all sorts of research within the physical and social sciences. The Nepal Government provides licenses to different companies for proper regulation and management of tourism. But until now there have been no government authorized trekking agencies appointed to provide exclusive services for scientists, naturalists, and explorers.

To fill this gap, we have established Himalayan Research Expeditions (HRE) to provide complete trekking, climbing, and research services for scientist and institutions interested in conducting research in Nepal.

I would like to cordially invite all interested scientists, graduate students, institutions, and organizations to our "living laboratory" in Nepal, and to enhance their and the Nepalese people's knowledge of the countries rich and diversified human and natural resources.
