HRE in Mountain

The Himalayan Research Expeditions (HRE) is a trekking company working for the scientist in the Nepal Himalaya. It manages logistic and manpower supports providing food, logistics and transportation services for all mountain researchers. It provides the necessary porters, Guides, Assistant Sherpa, Food, Tents, Equipments for porters and field staffs. HRE arranges rescue Helicopter and flight service in case of emergency. HRE team was greatly involved in rescue and evacuation during the Gorkha Earthquake April 2015. Now HRE has been working as a logistic supporter of Nepal Army's Imja Lake lowering project in Solukhumbu. Imja lake is potentially dangerous glacial lakes in the high altitude of Solukhumbu district. It will be lowered by more than three meters by the end of this year to reduce the outburst risks.
