I contracted Himalayan Research Expedition (HRE) to provide logistics support for a high-altitude helicopter survey of glacier thickness in the Khumbu area in November 2019. For this project, HRE also supported the visit of a film crew from the BBC Natural History Unit. This was a complex project with two groups sometimes operating at separate sites, and with detailed corporate requirements for health and safety. HRE provided an extremely professional service and ensured that we operated safely, efficiently and in compliance with the regulations for operating in this area. Thanks to HRE, the survey and filming were completed successfully, on time and on budget. I would not hesitate to work with HRE again in future.
